Some morning pictures of the garden. Total eye-candy type post.
First… more basil coming up.

Also more peppers.

Then the tomatoes. I moved them to the back patio. I had to replant the Sweet 100 down lower. Got some leafminer issues.

I’m going to add the rest of the cage since one leaf is peeping over.

Had the tree trimmed last weekend. I didn’t take a before but here is the after. Opened the middle quite a bit and we’re ready for hurricane season now.

Putting hanging pot on a shepherd hook at Julia’s height is one of the best garden things I’ve done with her apart from that Chia Garfield. She derives immense pleasure from watering it and counting buds and flowers.

They are filling in quite nicely.

Today’s project was this packet of seeds going into three terracotta pots.

Julia helped sprinkle the leftovers in while eating her banana snack.

Everyone should garden in poodle skirts.

Julia forgets there is a pretend bird inside the birdfeeder. So when she rediscovers him it is funny.

“Mommy, I found a little shade! Take a picture of me in little shade!”

I spetn the rest of the day pressure washing the patio and edging while Julia fooled around with her sand table and wading pool. A nice day.
