Been fooling around trying to layout my garden plan taking heights of plants, spacings, and companion planting into consideration. It’s not easy. But I rather plan and hopefully bump my odds of success. Here’s where we are so far:
It’s been raining a lot — which is good. We need it. But it’s also annoying because I can’t get on with my dirt in the rain. July is supposed to be solarizing time and because my beds are not all put together and trellises are non-existant I feel like I’m slipping behind.
Well, if it turns out to just me the middle bed this time around, so be it. I’ll get around to the sides later.
I forgot to call 811 yesterday and now I have to wait til it is open again on Monday. 811 is the quick number to Florida’s “One Call” that you have to call before you go digging around to make sure you don’t hit buried lines.
