Sometimes I clean up the tired produce in the fridge and make pasta sauce. It always varies. Today I got 3 plum tomatoes, 2 medium tomatoes, 2 medium green peppers, 1 large orange pepper, 1 medium onion. Washed, halved, deseeded, and run through the blender.
Into the crockpot on low with a 28 oz can of Muir Glen Fire Roasted Tomatoes and a small can of tomato paste.

Stir it up, cover and cook overnight on low. In the morning I’ll season with herbs and either cool it and have it later this week on pasta or chuck it in the freezer.
