Well, if you count dining out on the weekends we end up liberal. If you don't count it or we quit doing it, we could end up at thrifty or low.

Ooh, I like that food costs sheet. I've been trying to budget better recently. I'm going to start myself out on the liberal plan and try to work my way backwards. Sadly, the liberal plan is still cheaper than what I've been doing lately.

I have been commenting and enjoying. I'm an infrequent newby to the UU church, but their core values match my own. I didn't understand the reference in your title, but the Ancestor's Feast was a clue. Your site has made me more inspired to follow through on my recent pledge to attend church more often and become involved once comfortable. Thank you.
Peace.

Brown sugar is almost always the key ;)

I wonder if veganizing this recipe would still result in the deliciousness pictured above.
This is my first time to your site. I came her because of your insecticide and now I want desert. Great blog!

Wow! I can't believe I found this recipe! I make traditional walnut potica but my brother loves pecans and I've been wanting to try making him some. Since walnuts are oilier, I was if a pecan version would be drier...I think the brown sugar might be the key. I am anxious to try your recipe ~ thanks so much for posting it!
